Archaeology is a live case
Archaeology – live arguments. So says Vincent, Parshuta, which is engaged in the archaeology Club of the Palace of youth creativity with the 5th grade. This summer, at the age of 17, he entered the Oriental faculty of St. Petersburg state University. Vincent is a regular at all of the expeditions of the club and the party’s 17 the last!
“I before and after school, said Vincent, – different people! Here I had an interest in the history of our ancestors. Here, I realized that archaeology is not a refined science, and some real hard evidence”. But, more importantly, as evidenced by all the pupils of the club – it is an invaluable communication skills and socialization!
Being in the senior expedition “to communicate with these highly educated people”, the experience Vlada Sinelnikova, easy and pleasant. They are always prompt, how to perform a certain type of work, joke, help. Anton Saveliev and Sasha Rakhiv together with Vlada engaged in the club for the 3rd year and dream of next year again to go to the Chersonese and Tuva – scientific archaeological expedition of the State Hermitage Museum. They know that there will be unexpected discoveries, and essential skills field work. Tamara A. Zheglov, head of the club which, in the opinion of the guys, segasega to find a common language, knows the secret passion of their students in scientific expeditions. Very often they are headed by graduates of the young archaeologists Club. For example, this year, after 20 years in the Chersonesos expedition returned State Hermitage Museum, run by Hope Y. Novoselov, a graduate of the group, member of the world-famous Museum, and concurrently (but rather by spiritual impulse), teacher favorite club.
Of course, not everyone is destined to become an archaeologist, it’s like Tamara said, “the job piece”, but to be an educated person, right attitude to historical monuments, you will agree, is important!
The club accepts kids starting from the 2nd class, but the active period of travel comes from seventh graders. During the admissions process many students run up to see who is logged in the club. They want the recruits were cheerful, friendly, cheerful, and that to study the history of civilizations, especially in such great company, very interesting, they are confident!
